About Me

Corporate Master of Ceremony / Compere

Larrie is a corporate master of ceremony (CMC) and Compere based in Lagos and Abuja with over a decade experience in anchoring social events such as weddings and birthday parties and corporate functions such as business meetings, product launches and end-of-year parties. With over 300 domestic and international events to his credit, Larrie¡¯s style can be described as witty, interactive, engaging, energizing and spontaneous. He interprets the client¡¯s brief in such a way that the focus is on the essence of the event and not on himself. Larrie does not overly concentrate on recycled jokes like a typical comedian or jester but uses audience response, situation humour, one-liners, innuendos, and instant observation to make the occasion memorable.

Business Strategist, Trainer and Management Consultant

As a management consultant, researcher, executive trainer and business strategist, Larrie regularly gets briefs from start-up firms, established indigenous companies and multinational organisations in respect of business scenarios / dilemmas related to organizational behaviour, profitability and sustainability, mergers and acquisitions, backward and forward integration, international business expansion, human capital development and corporate social performance. These briefs are subsequently turned into strategy sessions through intensive design thinking whilst peculiar solutions are provided to the clients. Additionally, Larrie frequently organizes entrepreneurship summits and he has facilitated sessions and trainings on such germane issues like leadership and team building, corporate transformation, etiquette and sartorial elegance, financial intelligence, negotiation and bargaining skills, emotional intelligence, and personal development and transformation. Such trainings for members of staff cut across sectors/industries such as oil and gas, banking, aviation, and telecommunication.

Sports Punditry

Larrie is a trained broadcaster and a sports enthusiast with a knack for sports analysis, commentating and presentation through electronic media (television and radio) on local and international platforms. He frequently features on ¡°Sports this Morning¡± and ¡°Channels Sports on Sunday¡± both on Channels Television. Larrie also engages in football punditry of the Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, European World Cup qualifiers, and FIFA tournaments for Star Times TV and HotSports Media. Motivational Speaker and Moderator

As a public raconteur, motivational speaker and moderator, Larrie gets frequent requests from companies, schools, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), labour unions and trade associations to lead or moderate sessions. He is always enthralled to moderate business meetings and sessions with other experts on such diverse issues as doing business in Nigeria by indigenous firms, economic indicators and the performance of the Nigerian economy, and role of youths in the Nigerian political space. Larrie enjoys speaking at religious worship centres, universities, schools, colleges and other public fora to share his experiences as a serial entrepreneur and engage in capacity building with youths towards self-discovery and financial independence.
